Ukuthunga Handmade is a registered non-profit initiative that combines traditional craftsmanship with community empowerment. Working with women from communities around White River and the Kruger National Park, the project creates beautifully handcrafted crocheted toys and gifts, each made with care, skill and creativity.
Through income-generation opportunities and skills development, Ukuthunga supports more than 60 women and their families. Every handcrafted piece tells a story of resilience, creativity and hope, making it a meaningful purchase that contributes directly to positive change within local communities.
