Located on the outskirts of White River, Malashe Agriculture Primary Cooperative offers visitors an authentic insight into the region’s agricultural landscape. This family-run farming enterprise, led by Goodwill Mbenyanie, combines commercial crop production with a commitment to supporting local food systems and sustainable farming practices.
Visitors can explore the working farm and learn about the cultivation of a variety of crops, including soya for export markets as well as cabbage, okra, sweet potatoes, spinach, beans and chillies grown for local consumers. The experience provides a fascinating glimpse into the challenges, opportunities and everyday realities of farming in the Lowveld, while highlighting the important role agriculture plays in the local economy and community.
